The Room of Thought and Meditation
   In this room, many elven mages compose new spells, reflect
on the day's work, and more or less just hang out and relax.  A
bar is set into the far wall, where a male wizard sells various
items of refreshment.  There are two exits out of this bar which
lead in opposite directions.

The Great Library of Magic
   This is the famed great library of arcane knowledge of
Charing.  This chamber is circular and lined all the way around
by wooden shelves.  This is where all the spell books are kept
within the tower.  The accumulated mystic knowledge of all the
elven mages is contained within the books of this library. Many
elven mages can be found consulting texts with these walls from
time to time.  A great magical ball of light floats in the
center of the room providing light for all.  There are two exits
leading deeper into the guild.

The Tower Laboratory
   This first room of the tower of magic users is a large
circular chamber.  It is constructed of black granite slabs of
stone.  There are no windows in the walls.  Light for this
room is provided by a single torch which lies near the stairs
leading up to the next floor.   Within these walls of the tower,
magic research in its various forms takes place.  From casting
new spells on test targets to using them in battle against the
evil races, these elves are always hard at work.  All sorts of
books on magic, as well as odd devices used for the makings
of spells and magic items, are strewn about the room here.

Before the Tower of High Magic of Charing
   A huge tower lies to the south.  It rises many stories
above the surrounding city.  At the top of the tower, several
figures can be seen through the windows.  They appear to be
casting magic.  Just to the south lies the entrance to the tower
of high magic within the city. All those who plan on learning
magic, or using it within the city, must report to the arch-mages
here.  There are exits all around leading deeper into the city.

The Trail of Tears
   Beautiful weeping willow trees run all long the trail here.
They come together overhead to form a graceful canopy covering the
trail.  This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking paths in the
city.  The sounds of drunks having a good time can be heard coming
from the Green Griffon Pub.  A sign welcoming pub patrons sits
near the entry door of the pub.  A large tower rising many stories
above the city is located to the south of here.  There are exits
all around leading deeper into the city.

The Trail of Tears
   This path keeps going west and east, and to the north a huge
hollowed out oak tree can be seen.  To the south is another oak,
but one of massive proportions that has made into a building of
some sort.  Laughter flows delightfully from it, and the sounds
of many instruments playing can be heard. Above the heavy double
doors, there is a sign that reads "The Grovetree Theatre."

The Center of Charing
   The surrounding roads intersect in this large city center.
The city center serves as a general meeting place where many
elves and visiting centaurs can always be seen congregating. In
the center of this area,  a large fountain has been erected in
the shape of a beautiful mermaid blowing water from her mouth.
The general surrounding areas are kept clean by the many
street workers who pick up debris.  There are exits in all
directions leading deeper into the city.
