The Shop of T'Lothka
   This is the shop of the Keep's sorcerer.  T'Lothka is a collector
of magical scrolls, potions, and other sorcerous items.  A quick 
inspection of the room reveals many mystical sights.  There is
a yellow mist which blankets the floor, spouting mysteriously from
a mouse hole in the wall.  Flashes of light and fiery sparks emerge
from behind a cloth covered doorway.  Along the walls are vials of
creatures, whole and in pieces, used as sorcerous reagents.  A quick
glance at the ceiling reveals a startling collection of skulls.  These
are branded, each upon the forehead, with the mark of socercery.  The
sockets of each of these ancestrial beings gleam with an supernatural
presence.  An old and withered looking figure rests behind the counter.
This area seems to be devoid of magic!

Beneath the Mage's Shop.
   Torches hosting purple flame lend light to this would be dark
chamber.  The light is enough to see much of the detail of this
room.  The floors are filthy, covered heavily with clods of dust.
Tiny specks of what looks to be dandruff are dispersed randomly
across the wooden planks.  Closer inspection reveals that the flecks
are merely pieces of parchment, whose source appears to be the
nearby walls.  Upon the walls are a number of illegible scrolls, aged
far to long to be of any use.  The ceiling creaks as customers
shop T'Lothka's wares.  The movement from above sends dust showering
down and causes sight to be somewhat difficult.  In one corner of the
room is a wooden staircase leading upwards.  To the east huge iron door.

In a Magical Study
   The room is contained in some type of magical space, for it
does not appear to have any visible ceiling.  A quick glance upwards
does not reveal the expected plank barrier, but rather the gleaming
white constellations of the heavens can be seen.  Rather than solid
walls, a barrier of mist as solid as any stone, partitions this
room.  Along these vapor walls, many shelves full of books can be
seen.  Plush pillows are scattered about, each having an intricate
stitch of gold lettering.  This is where followers of dark magic

   This small clearing has clearly seen frequent use as a rest stop.  A

On a Mountain Trail
   Gradually sloping up and down here, the trail is still easy to
travel, though a bit hard on the feet.  Everything here is barren
stone, and many of the edges are quite sharp, an unwary traveler could
easily stumble and injure themselves on the sharp rocks.  This trail
must have been created at some time by running water, but whatever
water ran through here has found another route.  The rocks have been
cracked by the constant exposure to harsh sunlight and the chill of the
dark nights.

On a Mountain Trail
   The trail narrows a bit as it heads north along a thick patch of
brush, but is still as easy to travel as the gentle slope that heads
upward.  Walls of stone rise up on every side, making it difficult to
see anything other than the trail.  Protection provided by the rocks
doesn't really outweight the beauty of the view they conceal, but there
is little choice but to continue and hope that the trail opens up a bit
more.

to a small open area to the south.  There is a single large bush here,
looking forlorn and lonely.  All of its berries have been stripped away
by passersby and several of its branches have been torn off.  It has no
choice but to remain here until someone or something decides that its
time is up.

A Small Clearing in the Mountains
   This small clearing has clearly seen frequent use as a rest stop.  A
sign stands here near the trail that heads off to the south, and
several small bushes do their best to cling to the barren stone.  A
small ring of stones in the center of the clearing shows where several
people have camped in the past, but the dirt in the center is cool,
nobody has set a fire here for a long time.  Small mountain trails head
off to the north and south.
