The Village Well of Barovia
A few small stone steps lead down into a small grassy
courtyard, encircled by a small wooden fence. The courtyard
is centered by a small, roofed stone well equipped with a
rotissery-style mechanism used to lower and raise buckets
into the water below. Leaves in the everypresent autumn
fall of Barovia are scattered about the area, and fill the
otherwise empty and somewhat slimy wooden bucket that
rests in a heap of rope on the leafy and overgrown grass
of the courtyard.

this intersection welcomes travellers to Barovia. Located just north of
is a horse stable with several stalls, where travellers may rent out
lodging for their steeds while staying in the village of Barovia. A thick
black fog has descended upon this village; its aura of blackness giving
a dreadful feeling of malice and fear.

This trampled and unkept street is littered with debris, including
a thick blanket of dense fog. This street is like much of the others
in Barovia. Random puddles in the street give it a very muddy texture,
while also revealing the movement patterns of all of those to traverse
these streets and roads. Random buildings, including homes as well as
stores are located along these streets. The only thing they have in
common being the corruption of the black fog upon the streets, as well
as their own state of abandonment.

of the village of Barovia. The iron gates move with a loud creeking
sound, unmaintaned in days. The grass in the area has become overgrown,
and the leaves left untended, scattered about the area. The village

A Vacated Guard House at the Gates of Barovia
The smashed, nearly demolished doorway to this guard house moves
with a loud creek, unoiled and unmaintained for days. This old
stone building serves as a guard's lookout watch post and rest
area for patrolling guards of Barovia. This guard post, at the
moment, is completely unmanned and abandoned.
