strange chill seems to emanate from the base of this pine.

passage into the glade continues off to the west but the path seems to have
taken on a darker feeling.  Even though the sun breaks through the trees  a
strange chill seems to emanate from the base of this pine.

A Darkened Trail in the Glade
   A gloom has settled over the path as some dark spirit seems to be
controlling the trees and animals in this part of the glade.   Animal
trails cross the path and to appear to be in the form of a family of
bears.  A large cave opening is off the southwest while the path seems to
brighten up ahead to the west.

A Bend in the Trail
   A large oak blocks further passage to the west.  This tree is rather
imposing and almost seems to be possessed by a sentient being.  One
should be warry of intruding further into this forest without showing
respect to the spirits of the glade. A small path continues to the north
for the daring adventurer.

A Trail Leading to the Temple
   The trees part and reveal a small pathway to the Temple of the Sun ahead.
A brilliant light shines down from the dome of the temple and warms the
stones of the pathway.  The chill that pervaded the forest is countered by the
magnificence of the temple dome but there is still an feeling that something
has diminished the power and beauty of this holy place.

The Gateway to a Temple
   A forbiding gateway which appears to have been crafted from a solid slab
of granite blocks further passage to the north.  A glowing keyhole has been
magically crafted into the center of the left gate which appears to be the
only way to gain access into the compound.  Strong magic seems to emanate
from the keyhole and draw your mind to finding a way to gain entrance.

   A small path leads east from the main trail to the temple.  This path
leads to the vegetable gardens which supply the druids with fresh produce
on a year round basis.  Farmers from throughout the lands of Duris
provide only the finest seeds in exchange for a fine vintage.
