Intersection Just Inside The Compound Gates
   This intersection is a small crossways of hallways.  Around to the east
and west a small hallway proceeds which is for aesthetic purposes mainly.
Ahead the main hall runs directly towards the greeting areas and the gates for
the further parts of the compound.  To the south the gate which guards the
entire compound stands stoically.  Small columns of obsidian rock seem to
support the ceiling though it is obvious that the columns, and the cave itself
are all carved from the rock.  Besides that, these hallways remain relatively
unadorned and plain.

The Entryway Into Torg's Compound
   The fine path ends here in a large circlular area before an imposing door
to the north.  Made from a petrified tree this door is slick and hard as
stone, yet it retains its beauty.  A first instinct is denied as realization
comes that the aesthetic beauty of this circular area is not its purpose.
The circular area gives a wonderful area for the archers above to shoot into.
As well enormous cauldrons of boiling oil can be poured from the fine path to
the south this direction allowing the contents to gather in the depressed
circle destroying more of an invading host.

Approaching Torg's Headquarters
   Ahead the large gates of the compound, which houses the leadership of
Torg's world, stand imposingly.  Along the walls above you notice large eyes
carved into the stone themselves.  If the leader himself wasn't renowned as
ferocious and bloodthirsty, it'd make one think that this were the abode of
a sorcerer.  These type of stone eyes are commonly used by sorcerers to keep an
eye on things.  However it is not implausable that Torg has many very skilled
sorcerers in his service.

A Corner Turning Towards The Compound
   Here the path turns to the north, directly towards the compound.  Off to
the west a bit the path reconnects with the main route.  This corner allows for
the second to last true defense of the city.  Should a final withdraw to the
compound be neccessary a barrage of boulders, stalagtites, and arrows would
greet invaders here.  As well portcullis's can be dropped from the ceiling to
trap invader's and compartmentalize them and maximize the effectiveness of
the defenses.

The Entryway Into Torg's Compound
   The fine path ends here in a large circlular area before an imposing door
to the north.  Made from a petrified tree this door is slick and hard as
stone, yet it retains its beauty.  A first instinct is denied as realization
comes that the aesthetic beauty of this circular area is not its purpose.
The circular area gives a wonderful area for the archers above to shoot into.
As well enormous cauldrons of boiling oil can be poured from the fine path to
the south this direction allowing the contents to gather in the depressed
circle destroying more of an invading host.

   This hallway looks as though it may have been here before the followers of
Torg took over the area.  It is rather fine cave work and it seems to have been
put in this area for the structural aesthetic of the area.  It is possible to
look through the walls with small columns in them to the center hallway area
where the greeting and filtering is going on.  To the west the intersection
near the entrance to the compound itself lies.

   Sharply this corner turns from the westerly direction around to the north.
Here a small statue decorates the corner.  It depicts a single large troll
warrior being impaled on all sides by human and gnomish warriors.  About

evident at the base of the sculpture with a short message.  Besides this
sculpture, the corner is rather not unique in anyway.

of the greeting area known as the outer compound.  While the corners of the

small windows looking into the greeting area.  The ceiling is rather high up
giving the whole area an imposing aura.
