A Large Cavern Before the Lair of Tiamat
This chamber is great indeed, and must be five hundred feet high
and a thousand feet around. The walls and ceiling are made of the
same flowing lava rock. Hundreds of brightly glowing orbs
illuminate the chamber from above. Pillars that look twisted and
sick reach high into the air, upon which flaming braziers sit
burning bright orange flames. In the northern wall two massive
doors mark the entry into this layer, standing nearly two hundred
feet high. To the south, a circular cavern leads deeper into the
layer, from which a bright red glow can be seen.
Obvious exits: -South

each. Images of death and destruction are painted all over the
them, surrounding a brightly glowing keyhole. Flames wisp and
dance about in random places on the floor.

A Hidden Passage Behind the Vault of Avernus
This room is on fire, literally. Columns of flames reach toward
the ceiling from braziers located every few feet along the walls,
making the heat almost unbearable. At the southern end of the room,
the wall looks misshapen. The walls and ceilings seem to twist and
flow like molten lava, with sharp bones jutting outwards. Hundreds
of skeletons lay charred all over the chamber, preserved as trophies
by the guardians of Tiamat's private vault. A large series of cracks
line the floor to the north, creating a definite falling hazard.
A bright light fills this area.
