   Built in the first and second floors of the residential complexes is a
number of facilities for those touring the Jade Empire, such as a tavern,
a restaurant, and a very affordable and comfortable inn. The foyer of these
establishments is decorated in the traditional eastern designed, including
pillows and a very low table placed on the floor.  The local residents
usually remove their shoes before entering buildings like this as a sign
of respect and cleanliness, though those visiting generally are oblivious
to this. A short staircase leads up to the reception of the inn, while
the restaurant and tavern are west and south, respectively.

   The palisades consist of a large plaza and walkway that surround the
palace on three sides, much like a large and busy courtyard. Constructed
much like the plaza, with green-hued tiles and an exhorborant ammount of
plants and flowers it is just another example of the beauty and majesty
of the Jade Empire.  The southwestern corner of the palisades intersect
with the thoroughfare to the west, and continue towards the river in the
east.

   The palisades consist of a large plaza and walkway that surround the

   The palace gates lie east here, and are protected by several samurai
guards. Surrounded on three sides by the palisades, the palace itself
rises up like some great totem, each floor represented on the outside by
green-silken awnings that shade the outdoor area. The gates themselves
have been constructed of emerald and reinforced with steel and when lock-
