Within a Frost-covered Forest
The trail splits into three seperate directions here, none of which seems
any less ominous and forboding than the others. A set of three spears,
each with a skull skewered upon the tip, lies upon the western border
of the intersection. Each skull faces one of the pathways leading away from
the crossroads. The overhanging branches of the evergreens and pines seem to
thin out slightly as one travels southwards. The air is calm and chill and
often carries the sounds of things moving about within the darkness of the
forest. The trailways heading east and north from here are wrought with
heavy footprints from very large feet.

Within a Frost-covered Forest
Muddy tracks crisscross through the snow, slush and mud trail which runs
through the thick pines and evergreens here. Wolf, moose and bear tracks
can be readily identified, though they are not the only tracks to be seen.
There are other, less well-defined tracks which even a master tracker
might find difficult to discern. The sounds of things moving through the
snow and underbrush can be heard throughout the area as things move about in
the dark shadows produced by the thickening ceiling of branches
above.

Within a Frost-covered Forest
The trail splits into three seperate directions here, none of which seems
any less ominous and forboding than the others. A set of three spears,
each with a skull skewered upon the tip, lies upon the western border
of the intersection. Each skull faces one of the pathways leading away from
the crossroads. The overhanging branches of the evergreens and pines seem to
thin out slightly as one travels southwards. The air is calm and chill and
often carries the sounds of things moving about within the darkness of the
forest. The trailways heading east and north from here are wrought with
heavy footprints from very large feet.
An unnatural darkness fills this area.

Within a Frost-covered Forest
Muddy tracks crisscross through the snow, slush and mud trail which runs
through the thick pines and evergreens here. Wolf, moose and bear tracks
can be readily identified, though they are not the only tracks to be seen.
There are other, less well-defined tracks which even a master tracker
might find difficult to discern. The sounds of things moving through the
snow and underbrush can be heard throughout the area as things move about in
the dark shadows produced by the thickening ceiling of branches
above.
