In the forgotten dimness of the past, ancient and powerful gods once walked the
lands of Duris, each incarnating the essence of one of the prime characteristics.
After slipping away from living memory and being forgotten, these gods have now
been reincarnated in the form of nexus stones, runestones that embody the very
nexus of life force from these ancient entities. These stones, when touched, are
turned toward the side of good or of evil. When the stone is fully aligned, all
who share its alignment will be strengthened in the characteristic of the stone's
essence. Additionally, a powerful Nexus Guardian will be spawned, its sole
purpose to protect the stone. The locations of these stones has been lost to time,
and must be discovered. Players can use the command <nexus> to see a list of
discovered stones and which side they are aligned to. It is foretold that the
changing of alignment of a nexus stone is a truly epic feat, and will be rewarded
thusly.
