Rolling Plains
   Traveling through the plains you come to a small forested area filled with
trees that have grown tall as they grew ancient.   As you draw nearer to this
forest, you start to hear the sounds of wild life that was not as predominate
through the plains.  The path ahead of you starts to become more engrossed in
trees, and up ahead you notice the trees seem to thicken into a dense forest.
From here you can also see some rolling hills in the distance. There seems to
be a wildlife path that cuts through the woods in front of you.  Though it is
over-grown from lack of heavy use, wildlife still uses enough to see.  As you
continue your trek forward, you note that the path seems to have been a stone
walkway at one time that has broken down and crumbled with the sands of time.

Broken Path Headed Toward a Grove of Trees
      The air gently rolls through the glade, making the trees sway slightly.

Upon the Tree-line
      The air gently rolls through the glade, making the trees sway slightly.

Just Inside the Archway
    As you enter deeper into the tree's you notice that in places the overgrown
path is still greatly intact and parts of the brush don't seem to grow upon it.
Most of the path is covered in ancient runes that seem almost elven.  One might
wonder how long ago these symbols would have been laid and how long it has been
since someone has trodden down this faint path through the forest.  It seems as
if at one time this path was a dominant, well-traveled one as you notice that a
few of the stones have been pressed in deep into the soil.

A Tranquil Forest
   Sounds come from all around you as you enter deeper into the forest.  Above
you there is a bit of rustling in the trees and around you the whole forest is
alive with sound, making it seem to be teeming with life.  Off to your left is
a group of deer approaching a stream.   About the same time you seem them they
look up and then dart off into the distance.   To your right, you see a mother
robin with her young waiting in a nest on a low branch as she swoops down with
the worm she has found nearby to feed them.  There is a path that leads to the
west and east.   Though the part that leads up the side of the hill looks like
it is still paved somewhat the path still looks as though it are just wildlife
paths through the forest.

A Tranquil Forest
    Sounds come from all around as you enter deeper into the forest.  Above you
there is a bit of rustling in the trees and the whole forest seems to teem with
life.  The pathway that leads northward, heading up the side of the hill, seems
to be still paved somewhat.   Other ways to go look like they are just wildlife
paths through the forest.  Ancient runes from an age gone past adorn the paths.
The woods around are full of life and movement.  Birds and bugs fly through the
trees, and other woodland creatures gathering food for their families scurry on
the sides of the path through the trees and bushes. Many sounds are heard along
the walk through the woods.  Birds chirping, calls of the wilds, and many other
woodland sounds come from all around as you travel further down the path.

Base of the Hills
    Though there are trees scattered around the base of the hill and along the
pathway up, they seem sparse toward the top.   Once clear of the forest trees,
an ancient keep  whose walls have fallen to rubble after many ages can be seen
on the apex of the next hill.   The wind has picked up quite a bit as a strong
gale blows through.  As it turns the dirt into a cloud of dust that it carries
away, the pathway becomes uncovered, and the intricate runes of long past that
adorn the path are revealed to be elven glyph's of warding.

Outside the Walls of an Ancient Keep
     Traveling up the side of the hill, it appears that at one time there were
walls that were laid in stone surrounding the base of the hill.  The stone and
rubble from the wall seem to become more predominate the further you go up the
hill.  Ahead there is what appears to be an old keep whose walls have crumbled
and scattered over time.   Ivy grows over what may have been part of the entry
gate to the garrison to the left.  The walls were not as strong as they needed
to be, though parts of it still stand together somewhat.

Courtyard of the Keep
   Coming closer to the gates of the keep's inner sanctum, you wonder how long
it has been since anyone has traveled within these hallowed walls. There seems
to be some grass from place to place that has been trodden down, yet you can't
help but wonder if it was humanoid or animals, as it appears that not much was
disturbed. The door to the sanctum seems secure.  As you draw closer you start
to think that it seems almost in perfect condition.

Courtyard of the Inner Sanctum
    Drawing closer into this part of the keep, there are cobwebs everywhere in
the room, except to the west where it leads down a small hallway.  There is an
eerie light  given off by the candelabras that adorn the halls and passageways
hinting at their magical nature.  Tapestries and artwork still line the walls,
unchanged from the day they were placed there, except for the cobwebs.  On the
left of the door there is a small wooden cabinet with intricate designs carved
on it.   There seems to be a solid wall of cobwebs to the east that completely
closes the exit.

Cobweb Covered Hallway
     The walls here are covered with spider webs, and are swarming with small
spiders climbing throughout the intricate work of webs.  It looks like anyone
walking through the maze of webs cannot help but become covered with the webs
while trying to cut a pathway through.  Past the webs, glimpses of light from
magical torches that adorn the walls can be seen.   Other than the webs, this
hallway appears as sturdy as the day it was built.   There seems to be no age
signs, no cracking or sagging in the support.

the cocoons that the spiders use to store their food.  The webs glisten in the
candlelight and emit an eerie light.  They are a very beautiful design made by
the thousands of spiders that inhabit these halls.   Deeper in the room, there
is noticeable movement coming from the far corner.

Guards Sleeping Chamber
     This room was once the resting place for the Royal guards of this ancient
keep. The bed and other furniture in the room has been overcome by cobwebs and
the cocoons that the spiders use to store their food.  The webs glisten in the
candlelight and emit an eerie light.  They are a very beautiful design made by
the thousands of spiders that inhabit these halls.   Deeper in the room, there
is noticeable movement coming from the far corner.

room itself is filled with broken chairs with a table in the middle. A hearth
on the north side of the room looks like it hasn't been lit in ages. In front
of the hearth sits a large chest which looks like it was crafted by an expert
craftsman, with intricate runes inscribed upon the surface.

     The walls here are covered with spider webs, and are swarming with small
spiders climbing throughout the intricate work of webs.  It looks like anyone
walking through the maze of webs cannot help but become covered with the webs
while trying to cut a pathway through.  Past the webs, glimpses of light from
magical torches that adorn the walls can be seen.   Other than the webs, this
hallway appears as sturdy as the day it was built.   There seems to be no age
signs, no cracking or sagging in the support.

   Coming closer to the gates of the keep's inner sanctum, you wonder how long
it has been since anyone has traveled within these hallowed walls. There seems
to be some grass from place to place that has been trodden down, yet you can't
help but wonder if it was humanoid or animals, as it appears that not much was
disturbed. The door to the sanctum seems secure.  As you draw closer you start
to think that it seems almost in perfect condition.
