This huge stone hall leads on an east-west axis. Huge columns have
been carved into caryatids, depicting various heroes of dwarven lore.
One of these statues is that of a ruthless-looking hammer-wielding
duergar with a horned helmet and stone boots. Another is of a humble
sage, draped in robes and clutching a holy symbol. The admiration
that these dwarves take for their lineage as well as their attention
to detail is astonishing.

This kitchen bares a large cauldron and a massive cutting board.
Various freshly-killed chops of meat hang above a metal pan, causing
a pitter-patter of sound as blood slowly drips from the haunches.
This kitchen is one of several in the inns of Alatorin, and is
understandably quite busy with the hustle and bustle of the dwarf
city, but also from the hearty appetites of the mountain-dwellers.
