is covered with bat and ogre guano making it slick, and creating an odor that
can not be ignored. Huge stalactites and limestone formations hang down from
the ceiling, sharp and ominous. The sounds of the cavern and it inhabitants
echo loudly all around. A huge stone formation blocks progress west. The
cavern floor continues north and south.

Floor Along the West Cavern Wall
   The west cavern wall does border to the west, but curves blocking progress
to the north also. The cavern floor is covered with bat and ogre guano, which
makes it slick and creates an aroma that can not be ignored. Looking up at the
ceiling of the great cavern huge stalactites and limestone formations hang
down, sharp and ominous. The sounds of the various inhabitants of the Faang
cavern mix together and echo loudly all around. A cave opening can be seen
in the west wall. The cavern floor continues south.

A Long and Narrow Cave
   The cave widens to the west opening into a huge cavern. Huge stalactites and
jagged rock pillars protrude from the ceiling, which appears to be about 100
feet high. Ogres of every shape and size can be seen wandering about in the
cavern, which appears to be some kind of activity center for the inhabitants of
Faang. The walls and ceiling of the cavern are covered with large patches of
moss and fungus.

A Long and Narrow Cave
   A huge slab of stone has been roughly formed into a gate, and wedged into
place blocking the way east. The cave ceiling is fairly low here, with most of
the stalactites and rock protrusions broken off. The cave is alive with noise
as the sounds of bats and various loud noises from the west all mix together
and echo all around. The cave continues west.

A Rocky Clearing at the Base of the Faang Mountains
   The immense face of the Faang Mountains rise up directly in front of you to
the east. There appears to have been an opening to a cave here at one time, but
a huge boulder has fallen, sealing off the entrance. Boulders and rocks have
all been moved from the center of this clearing, forming a roughly circular
clearing. In the center of the clearing a huge rock spike has been stuck into
the ground. There is a skull of some kind impaled on the top of the spike.
Boulders block any progress to the north or south. A narrow trail leaves to the
west.

A Rocky Trail Into the Faang Mountain Cluster
   The terrain around this fairly worn path grows more rocky as the path
proceeds west. Huge boulders and rock fragments litter both sides of the path.
To the east, the sharp, jagged ridges of the Faang mountains can be seen rising
up and blocking all else from sight. It's easy to see how these mountains got
their name, as the jagged rock spires and ridges protrude from various places
among the sheer surface of the mountain cliff face. The path continues east
and west.
