can be seen. The air is wet, the smell of rotting plant and animal life

have been trampled deep into the muddy ground. The mud here sucks at your feet
as you try to move along, water oozes and slashes. To the west buildings block
the way, to the east is the muddy rubble of some old structure. More buildings
can be seen to the north. The murky waters of a huge swamp can be seen south.
The air is thick with moisture and the scent of decay. It is impossible to
breath here without getting a mouthful of insects. Yummy! The road continues
south. To the north the land slopes steeply down.

  This trail runs east west along the border of the ruins and the swamp. The
ground here slopes sharply to the north as the stone ruins disappear into the
muddy swamp. It is difficult to keep your balance on the slick mud surface of
the trial. The mud sucks at your feet and insects fill your mouth as you
breathe in the stagnant air. A road runs south from here. To the north is
a deep, unpassable section of the swamp. The trail runs east and west.

The Center of Ghore
  This centrally located spot is a favorite meeting place for the inhabitants
of Ghore.  The swamps can be accessed north and the ruins and various shops of
the town to the south.  The area is a crossroads with the trail running east
and west and another path leaving north.  There is a large statue of some
ancient troll guardian that has been erected and protects the area with a
magical force.  The statue has seen better days, however the major damage has
only occurred to the base of the statue.  A cloud of swamp gas covers the entire
swamp, blocking out any light from the sun.   A large stone lined pool of swamp
water is here for the trolls' drinking pleasure.

    This trail runs east and west separating the marsh to the north from the
forest to the south. Several heads of alligators can be seen in the water of
the marsh. The smell is one of decay and insects swarm with each step.

The Center of Ghore
  This centrally located spot is a favorite meeting place for the inhabitants
of Ghore.  The swamps can be accessed north and the ruins and various shops of
the town to the south.  The area is a crossroads with the trail running east
and west and another path leaving north.  There is a large statue of some
ancient troll guardian that has been erected and protects the area with a
magical force.  The statue has seen better days, however the major damage has
only occurred to the base of the statue.  A cloud of swamp gas covers the entire
swamp, blocking out any light from the sun.   A large stone lined pool of swamp
water is here for the trolls' drinking pleasure.

  This trail runs east west along the border of the ruins and the swamp. The
ground here slopes sharply to the north as the stone ruins disappear into the
muddy swamp. It is difficult to keep your balance on the slick mud surface of
the trial. The mud sucks at your feet and insects fill your mouth as you
breathe in the stagnant air. A road runs south from here. To the north is
a deep, unpassable section of the swamp. The trail runs east and west.

A Muddy Road
   This section of Pound Road is almost devoid of paving stones, most seem to
have been trampled deep into the muddy ground. The mud here sucks at your feet
as you try to move along, water oozes and slashes. To the west buildings block
the way, to the east is the muddy rubble of some old structure. More buildings
can be seen to the north. The murky waters of a huge swamp can be seen south.
The air is thick with moisture and the scent of decay. It is impossible to
breath here without getting a mouthful of insects. Yummy! The road continues
south. To the north the land slopes steeply down.

A Muddy Stretch of Pound Road
   The road here is about half mud and half stone. The surface is very slick
with mud and slime. Buildings block the way east and west and more buildings
can be seen to the north. To the south the murky waters of a swamp can be
seen. The air is thick with the smell of rotting plant and animal life.
Insects swarm and bite. The road continues north and south.

A Turn in Pound Road
   This section of Pound Road is covered with pot holes and littered with stone
and debris. The road makes a sharp turn here and closely resembles an alley.
Buildings block the way south and west. Rubble from an old building occupies
the corner to the north east. Not far to the south the waters of a murky swamp
can be seen. The air is wet, the smell of rotting plant and animal life
prevails. The road continues north and east.

Pound Road
   This section of Pound Road is covered with muddy pot holes, rock and debris
litter the surface. Directly ahead can be seen many old decayed buildings, it
seems a wonder they are still standing. The remains of some old building that
once stood proud is north. The entrance to the warriors guild lies south. The
road continues east and west.

A Curve in Pound Road
   The road is dotted with deep, muddy pot holes and littered with stones and
debris. Looking far to the south you can see where the buildings seem to
suddenly stop and a huge swamp begins. Several tops of buildings can be seen
protruding from the surface of the murky water. The air is almost drinkable
here and the smell of decaying life dominates the senses. The road continues
to the south and west.

   This section of the road is littered with stones and debris. Large pot holes
dot the surface. Grunt Way enters from the east. As you look northeast you can
see what looks like an old, decayed palace. The top floors and towers of this
old palace have all collapsed leaving piles of rubble in their place. To the
south and west many old buildings can be seen, most of which appear to be
barely standing. The road continues north and south and Grunt Way splits off
to the east.
