surrounded by eight chairs. The table is made of heavy overworld oak as are
the chairs, possibly obtained from one of many raids on the surface by the
runners of Slin. A large ledger sits on table with a list of names and
services provided. A very large vault sits behind the table.

the west and called 'The Bone Yard.' To the east, the store is named
'Illustrium Arcana.'

Tavern of the Howling
  Named for the endless shriek of the wind against the cliff face just to the
north of the plaza to the east, this tavern boasts some of the most violent
clientel, and wines of the realms. Heavy mushroom stalk tables are scattered
across the floor with mushroom stalk benches scattered around them. A large
basalt bar travels near the west wall, in front of polished basalt shelves
displaying the vast array of wines of the Tavern of the Howling.

   It is readily apparent why this inn has gained its name. From the north,
even through the noise of the tavern itself, a voracious howling rips through
the doorway. A polished basalt counter is here, containing a ledger of the
guests of the inn. A strange hallway with a hundred doorways completes the
inn to the south.

High Above the Great Web City
   The web city of Arachdrathos stretches out below, fully spanning the girth
of the massive cavern below. A ferocious wind shrieks in from above, swirling
above the towering spires of the noble houses of Arachdrathos. Looking for
the source of the wind above, one can only see a void. The same can be said
for below the web. Just above, a cliff edge meets the webwalk, allowing
access to the Arachdrathos marketplace.

A Fountain Before the Reflecting Pool
   A majestic fountain paying homage to the Mother of the Drow and the great
City of Arachdrathos bubbles endlessly before a shimmering reflecting pool.
The fountain depicts a beautiful drow woman with her arms outstretched, a
giant web stretched bewteen her fingertips. Water trickles down her arms
to fall from the center of the web into a basin surrounding her feet. The
plaza continues towards shops to the east and west. The vaulted ceiling of
this cavern is richly veined with durithalite and sharply reflected by the
reflecting pool as it opens up to the north towards the chasm and web of
Arachdrathos.

Inside the Gates of Arachdrathos
   The Adamantine gates of the Jewel of the Underworld lie at the south end
of this stretch of tunnel. To the north the tunnel opens up into a larger
cavern richly veined with durithalite and swarming with denizens of the
underworld. The sound sof the busy Arachdrathos marketplace fill the air, but
beneath the voices and shuffling, a low roaring can be heard in the distance.

The Gates of Arachdrathos
   The narrow cavern here is bordered on the north end by a set of huge
adamantine gates. The gates are heavily scratched from attempted invasions
by Duergar, Illithid, and Svirfneblin alike. The walls of the cavern are
streaked with Durithalite, running from the Llzazan farms through the gates
to the city.

Hell Road Before the Gates of Arachdrathos
   The road here bends to the north through a tunnel towards the Drow city
of Arachdrathos. The tunnel to the north becomes a gauntlet of protection
for the famed Drow city, making it impervious to attack or seige. To the
south the Great Llzazan Lake extends across a great cavern, shimmering
softly under the ruddy hue of the glow of the durithalite stone webbed
throughout the basalt roof and walls of this cavern.

Northwest Shore of the Great Llzazan Lake
   The lake is very still and calm here. It reflects the ceiling of the
cavern perfectly as the dim veins of durithalite glowing there trace out
a web on the water. The city gates of Arachdrathos lie a bit to the north
of the lakeshore and the lake continues to the south and east. Tall
mushrooms tower above the southern side of the lake.

On Llzazan Lake
   The lake bends form west to north here as it skirts the northern end of
the giant mushroom groves. To the east and south giant mushrooms rise high
above the lakes surfacxe dropping spore balls that slowly float to the
surface of the lake. The lakes surface was still until it was disturbed by
some morons who decided to explore its surface.

West side of a Mushroom Peninsula.
   This small peninsula is bordered here to the north and west by the Great
Llzazan Lake. Huge mushrooms erupt form the ground ehre shooting skyward to
tower eighty feet overhead. Giant mushroom caps some thirty feet in diameter
continually rain spores on the ground here, which disintegrate in a puff of
dust under a heavy boot. The land continues to the east and south.

East Side of a Mushroom Peninsula
   The mushroom grove here is bounded by water on two sides, to the north
and to the east. To the west however, the peninsula continues, and the grove
also continues to the south. Tall mushrooms reaching about eighty feet
in height preside over this meninsula, and drop spore balls that slowly
and lazily float to the surface where they land in a puff of dust.

Near the Mushroom Grove on the Great Llzazan Lake
   The giant mushrooms overhang the lake slightly here, their huge caps some
eighty feet above the water's surface. The water is very clear and cold and
incredibly still, its mirrorlike surface reflecing up at the cave ceiling
and at the gills on the underside of the giant mushroom caps. To the north
and east the lake continues.

Turbulent Water
   The water pitches and rolls here, large waves crash and splash amongst
themselves, roiling the lake into a white foam. The oddness of it is, the
waves only seem to be spashing within a fifty foot circle and the water
outside this circle is as smooth as even the finest mirror.

The Great Llzazan Lake
   The lake here continues to the south and west. The water is very still,
very clear, and very cold. To the north, there is a large pasture of yellow
fungus that is closely cropped. To the east a grove of giant mushrooms hugs
the lakeshore. The cavern ceiling towers about two hundred feet overhead
in this portion of the cavern, softly glowing with the durithalite veins
etched in its surface.

Edge of the Llzazan Mushroom Groves
   The groves end rather abruptly to the north as the giant mushrooms give
way to clusters of low lichens and small fungus that are used to feed the
rothe cattle of the deep. Here, however, majestic mushrooms climb high
overhead, dropping spore balls that gently float both to the forest floor
and to land on the lake to the west.

Southeast Corner of the Rothe Pasture
   The fungus here is cropped very short to the ground uniformly, providing
the cavern floor with a soft spongy turf. It also very rich in the
concentration of the low fungus, feeding off the highly nutritious substrate
that is both fertilized by rothe excrement and svirfneblin flesh. Bones of
gnome and cow alike are scattered through the plush turf.

provides a link between the ghetto and the Llzazan Farms. Each day, many
Rothe and mushroom timbers are dragged through this tunnel as they are
harvested for slaughter and processing. The floor here is heavily coated
with rothe crap and mushroom particles, both of which were left behind in
the transit of these goods into the ghetto. The road ends abruptly to the
west as it reaches the rothe pasture.

not as pleasant.

   The road here trails off to the south after coming through a hole in the
ceiling. Many rotten pieces of mushroom timbers litter the road as well as
a fair helping of rothe manure. There is a small quantity of durithalite

The Llzazan Road
   The road here comes out of a hole in the cave floor to travel to the east.
The floor here is littered with rothe excrement and pieces of mushroom,
giving the floor a certain bouncy spongyness.  Footprints disrupt the putrid
carpet of muck, especially along the northern wall of the cave. The road
continues towards the manufacturing distric to the east.

A Bend on the Great Llzazan Road
   The road here bends form west to north as it travels between the farms
and the manufacturing district. There is a generous piling of excement and
fungus fragments on the road here, making for some rather unusual footing.
The stench here is also quite unusual and there is very little positive
that can be said about this road.

The Llzazan Road
   The road here bends from east to south as it heads gently downwards to
the Llzazan Farms. To the east, it climbs up towards the manufacturing
district of the Llzazan Ghetto. The floor here is covered with mushroom
chips and rothe manure, showing the typical nature of traffic through this
part of the ghetto.

The Llzazan Road
   The road here continues from a hole in the cave ceiling. There is a thick
coating of fungus chips and rothe dung on the ground here, and some
footprints have tracked through it, especially near the south wall of the
cave. Flecks of durithalite dimly illuminate this section of the road,
allowing just enough light for drow eyes, but way too little for any creature
of the surface.

The Llzazan Road
   The road drops through a hole in the cavern floor here as it heads towards
the rothe farms and mushroom groves. There is obvious use of this part of the
cave for the transport of mushroom timbers as chips of mushroom trunks
litter the floor. Also it seems that rother are brought through here as well,
since there is enough fecal evidence of the cattle on the ground here. The
road contineus to the east.

   The road here runs from east to west as it connects the manufacturing
district of the Ghetto to the Farms. Evidence of the transit of mushroom
stalks and rothe is readily available as a combination of fungus chips and
rothe feces make up the floor of the cavern here. To the east the road
continues towards the manufacturing distric. To the west, it heads towards
the farms.

   The road her ebends form north to west as it travels through the
manufacturing district of the Llzazan Ghetto. To the west side of this
cavern there is a large Rothe Prcessing Facility, and to the east there is
a mushroom Timber treatment facility. The road enters a tunnel to the west
as it heads towards the farms.

   The road her epasses between two large facilities. The one to the east,
by smell can be identifed as a mushroom timber treatment facility. The one
to the west can also be identified by smell too, to be a rothe
slaughterhouse. The road continues to the north and south from here as it
travels through this small cavern.

   The road here bends upwards as it connects this small cavern to the one
above. To the east and west there are large structures, both carrying
conspicuous smells. After a breif nasal comparison it is clear the building
to the west is a Rothe Slaughterhouse and the building to the east is a
mushroom timber treatment facility. The road continues to the south.

   The road runs  to the north here as it climbs from a hole in the cave
floor. The old armor and weapons shops are to the west and east, barely
distinguishable from the other piles of rubble these drow of the Llzazan
Ghetto pass off for houses. To the north, the cave opens up a bit more as
it approaches barter way.

The Llzazan Road
   This road winds through the lowest of the drow settlements, the Llzazan
ghetto. It is here the working drow take refuge from the tyrant lords of
the Houses of Arachdrathos. The street is littered with rubble as buildings
made of stone and mushroom timbers crumble under the relentless pressures
of age. The road runs north and south here and there are stone houses to
both the east and west. A sign saying 'Rothe Reapers' is prominently attached
to the western building.

A Formerly Elegant Intersection
   This is the intersection of the Llzazan Road and Barter Way. Here at this
intersections the Elders of House Llzazan met to decide the fate of their
house. It was here where many a battle plan was amde and many plot twisted.
Now it is merely a simple street intersection surrounded by a few archaic
stone columns and rubble of an domed ceiling. The roads continue in all
cardinal directions from here.

  This road is the main, and virtually only center of commerce in the
Llzazan Ghetto. The few remaining shopkeepers here try to eke out a living
by selling second rate items at exceptionally high prices. The road is
littered with refuse, broken mushroom timbers and rocks that have fallen
from the partially collapsed shops on the north and south sides of the road.

The Tavern of the Decapitated Dwarves
   Long ago, before the fall of House Llzazan to the combined Houses of
Arachdrathos, this portion of the Llzazan Caverns was the site of a great
battle, where Drow and Dwarf clashed over rich Durithalite deposits in
the area. It was where this tavern now stands, that a contingent of Llzazan
house nobles captured and executed a large band of Dwarven prisoners.
Fourteen skulls are bolted to the west wall of this taverrn, directly above
the bar. These fourteen skulls are the decapitated heads of the Dwarves the
Llzazan Nobles siezed on that day. This odd shrine to drow battle prowess
makes the Tavern of the Decapitated Dwarves one of the few sources of pride
for the downtrodden people of the Llzazan Ghetto.
