A Heavily Guarded Post Before the Golden Stairs
   Protected from the evil and tyranny of the realm, this guard
post serves as fortified line of defense before the great
golden stairs to the east.  This guard post was most likely
added to the shrine in the past several hundred years, rather
than being included in its original design.  Imagery of the
King of Justice, Lareth, and his court of golden dragons can
be seen in the brickwork as well as the columns supporting
this megalithic structure.

A Pillared Foyer Before the Larethian Sunwell
   This great foyer has numerous pillars stretching out eastward
in a continuation of this great shrine to Lareth, King of
Justice.  The great dragon king and his court of golden
dragon followers are immortalized in this shrine through
the carvings and utterly perfect sculptings on the columns
supporting this megalistic structure.  Each column, reaching
well over one hundred feet high, stands perfectly unique
and unscathed.  The great and legendary Larethian sunwell
blazes to the east, illuminating the shrine and captivating
the worshipers residing here.

chamber rests on several pillars, each depicting the great

set in the center of the chamber in a frame of gold and stone.

   This large, domed chamber rests high in the mountain peaks of
this great continent.  Gazing off miles in the distance, one can
see the other side of the great sunwell in the peaks of Lareth.
This sunwell, however, lies in Shaledrieth, the great mountain
outpost under the protection of the high elves.  Four huge columns
stand in the corners of this peak dias, each carved into various
high elven prophets and figures of great lore.  A grand foyer
lies to the south followed by a large staircase downward into
the outpost of Shaledrieth.

   This elegant high elven home of Shaledrieth is the place of
residence of one of the current lieutenants.  These higher
members of Shaldrieth guard rank do not stay in the barracks
for numerous reasons, including the fact that during an invasion

then if they were in the second level of the barracks.
Although this home is quite simple in appearance from the
outside, the interior is quite pleasant.

only simple cousins, the high elves and grey elves of this
realm both have one common enemy, the races of the underworld
who try tirelessly to invade, plague, and destroy their
peaceful and lush lands.  The Inn of the Beech and the
Eucalyptus does not see many high elves, as they are mostly a
guardian race of the great sun well.  Adventurers of numerous

An Intersection of Roads in Shaledrieth
   This grand turning point intersects Baleth Street and the
Grision Street, the two main concourses of Shaledrieth.  This large
intersection is marked with a simple sun dial in the exact
center of where the two roadways meet.  This sundial, made
entirely of crystal, glows with a bright, elven magic.
