   Emerald Lane heads off toward a tall emerald green tower to the east and
the small square continues to the north, south, and west.  An elderly halfling
woman has a fruit stand to the south and someone is selling leather goods in
the northeastern corner of the market.  Lanterns hang from the lower branches
of the small flowering trees that have been planted throughout the square
keeping it well lit at all times.

Emerald Lane
   Emerald Lane receives its name from the emerald tower that is at its
eastern most end.  Halfling wizards can be seen traveling the road to get to
the tower, one of the best, and safest, places to study magic within hundreds
of miles.  A small path heads north toward a small rock garden of some sort
and emerald lane continues east toward the tower.  The halfling market begins
directly to the west.

Emerald Lane
   Muffled roars seem to vibrate throughout the thin emerald tower to the
east.  The tower itself is home to some of the most powerful mages in the
land, and contains several libraries that cause many mages from distant lands
to come visit.  Robed figures march up and down the path past short flowering
trees and some soft ferns.  Emerald Lane bends from west to north here as it
winds around the sides of the emerald tower to reach the front entrance.

The Fruit Vendor's Corner
   An ancient halfling woman works behind the huge stone bench that displays
all of the different produce of the nearby halfling farms and orchards.
Fruits and vegetables come here directly from the farms so they are
wonderfully fresh and aromatic.  Lanterns hang from beautiful flowering trees
growing at each end of the bench to help light the square at night when
parties and celebrations are being held.  The square extends to the north and
west.
