drag a slave with a glazed look in his eye toward the dinner
table of a wealthy buyer.  A sturdy iron door leads out of the
pens to the east.

Slave Pens
   Slaves of innumerable underdark races are crammed into this
large stone room.  The room serves as a holding pen for the
slaves when they are not outside working the fields, and also as
meat locker of sorts for the wealthier, hungry illithids.  The
docile glazed look in the eyes of the slaves is indicative of
their mental domination by the illithids.  None of the slaves
wear chains, as none of them have a chance of breaking the more
powerful mental shackles placed upon them.  A sturdy iron door
leads out of the room to the west.

Entrance of a Huge Stone Building
   This massive stone building stretches for many hundreds of
feet to the south.  Illithids come through the structure's stone
door here bringing with them slaves which are housed in the many
slave holding pens within the building.  A dank smell hovers in
the air about the building, the smell of thousands of cooped up
slaves of many different races.  Sturdy iron doors lead into pens
to the west and east, and a large hallway to the south runs
between the rest of the slave pens.

Slave Pens
   A dank odor arises from the many slaves filling this large
stone room.  The slaves sleep piled on top of each other although
a few slaves have managed to commandeer one of the few small
filthy cots for their use.  Faintly glowing brands burnt into
their forearms signify the illithid owners.  Slave overseers come
in occasionally to lead slaves out to work in the fields or to
lead them toward the supper table of some wealthy illithid.  Once
a day the illithid masters dump food into a large trough on one
side of the room; the slaves have picked it clean since.  A
sturdy iron door leads out of the pens to the east.

A Large Stone Hallway
   A large stone hallway cuts through the middle of this immense
stone building.  Cobwebs line the ceiling and the dank odor of
the many slaves hangs in the air. Illithids come and go from the
many sturdy iron doors that line the walls of this gloomy hallway
followed by slaves under their mental suggestion.  The commotion
of many slaves can be heard coming from the rooms to the east and
west, and the hallway continues to the north and south.

Slave Pens
   Numerous slaves of many underdark races cover the floor of
this dank room.  The distinctive odor of goblin mingles with the
less detectable odor of wet duergar.  The slaves are kept in
these dark stone rooms when not working out in the fields.  None
of the slaves are chained, yet escape is impossible under the
watchful eye of their illithid masters.  Illithid overseers come
in occasionally to dump food into a large feeding trough or to
drag a slave with a glazed look in his eye toward the dinner
table of a wealthy buyer.  A sturdy iron door leads out of the
pens to the east.
