   This large auditorium has several massive stone pillars supporting
it.  However, it has been constructed in a fashion so that the central
practice combat area is clear of pillars, offering optimal maneuverability
with added realism of the actual gladiator pit.  A large furred mat sewn
over with black leather makes up the floor, seving as a sparring
mat.  There are numerous wooden weapon racks with wooden and composite
sparring weapons used for the gladiators to warm up before their big
fights.
