A Dark Trail
    This dark trail winds through the weeds of a burnt and charred land.
To north, the trail continues towards a high tower in the middle of a
mountain range.  The tower is hidden nicely there and only the ones who
know how to navigate this trail can find their way to the tower.  The
trail is hardly called a trail, being nothing more than a mud patch that
winds its way through the burnt and rugged landscape.

A Bend In The Dark Trail
   This mud trail takes a sharp turn towards the east here.  The trail
continues northward towards the tower and southward towards the open
terrain.  There are several types of footprints embedded in the trail,
including several large and huge ones.  This trail seems to be littered
with torn clothes, dried blood, and decomposing skulls.  This entire
field of deadness blankets the surroundings.

A Dark Trail, Approaching The Tower
   The sky seems to darken as the trail approaches this gloomy tower. The
seems to be a little thicker here, where more of the grass has been worn
down by the constant use of many races.  There is a small sign depicting
a message in an incomprehendable language.  The sign has been knocked
down and trampled upon, and is barely visible through the thick layer
of mud covering it.

The Gates To A Dark And Gloomy Tower
    The gates to this dark and gloomy tower stand tall against the
background of a treacherous mountain range.  The gates themselves appear
to be made of a black-steel type ore and seem to have taken heavy
battle damage.  There is a treacherous-looking human guarding the gates;
he apparently is using no weapon.  The tower seems to be blocking passage
into the mountains, leaving the only directions north into the tower, or
south back on to the trail.

A Poorly-Lit Hallway
   This poorly lit hallway is the first glimpse into this enormous tower.
The hallway is poorly lit, with only a few low burning torches, which are
frequently left to burn out.  The gates to the tower lies to the south,
while a door is to the east and the hallway continues to the north.  The
hallway seems to be a trophy case of different items, mainly those of
scalped barbarians, gnomes, and elves.  Additionally, drow-made paintings
have been hung up on the wall for the more intellectual people of the tower.

The First Floor Guard Room
   The guard of the first floor has been given this small,
closet-sized room.  The first floor guard appears to be a
troll of some occupation.  This room is barely big enough for
this troll to live in, and is frequently seen roaming the
hallways instead of staying in his crampt room.  The walls of
the room are solid rock, and there are some furs in the corner
for the troll to sleep on.  In addition, there are several
corpses of various races that the troll has eaten.

the tower.  Towards the east and west run a couple small hallways,
while towards the north and south run the main hallway.  The stairs
of the tower appear a short ways off to the north.  This area seems to
be the most traveled area of the tower.  While the low level innitates
of the tower goto their respective rooms on the lower levels, the higher
level raiders march through here daily towards the stairs.

A Dark Stone Stairway
   These stairs lead up from the second floor to the third floor.  They
are guarded by a set of very nasty orc guards, possibly even anti-paladins.
This area seems to be almost covered in darkness.  The remains of old torch
holders on the walls have been left idle for many many years.  The stairs
are made out of solid stone, most likely granite or some other hard
rock.  The foyer of the second floor lies toward the east.

A Gloomy Hallway
   This gloomy hallway extends northward from the second floor foyer.  This
section of the tower appears to be the spellcasting training area, and
studies associated within that genre of skills.  This area is much cleaner
than the first floor, and hardly any trolls or ogres are allowed down this
hallway, except for the burly ogre guard.  To the east and west lie different
study rooms for the students.

   This gloomy hallway extends northward from the second floor foyer.  This
section of the tower appears to be the spellcasting training area, and

   This small study appears to be the apprentice sorcerer's study.  There
are several spellbooks, lying in piles about the room.  In the center of
the room lies a magical circle, drawn in blood, for their conjuring and
spellcasting area.  One of the clan elders, a drow elf, stands in the middle
of the circle instructing the students on their form and technique.  Only
three students are allowed in this area at one time.  Towards the west lies
a gloomy hallway.

A Gloomy Hallway
   This gloomy hallway extends northward from the second floor foyer.  This
section of the tower appears to be the spellcasting training area, and
studies associated within that genre of skills.  This area is much cleaner
than the first floor, and hardly any trolls or ogres are allowed down this
hallway, except for the burly ogre guard.  To the east and west lie different
study rooms for the students.
Obvious exits: -East -South -West

A Small Study, Littered With Spellbooks
   This small study appears to be the apprentice sorcerer's study.  There
are several spellbooks, lying in piles about the room.  In the center of
the room lies a magical circle, drawn in blood, for their conjuring and
spellcasting area.  One of the clan elders, a drow elf, stands in the middle
of the circle instructing the students on their form and technique.  Only
three students are allowed in this area at one time.  Towards the west lies
a gloomy hallway.
Obvious exits: -West
