A Room of Friezes
   Friezes adorned the walls here providing mute testiment to the wealth of
the family that built this tomb.  They depict long trade caravans making their
way from city to city carrying items from the furthest parts of the underdark.
Even some slaves and goods from the surface can be seen.  Of the original
contents of the room only the friezes remain, the coffins that once resided
here have all been removed.  This room now only serves as a hallway leading to
Tala's room.

   Once the tomb of a wealthy family, it has been recently modified to
sequester the necromancers guild.  A failed war with the priests of Loviatar
has resulted in the guild being driven underground, figuratively and
literally.  The people who built the tomb must have been rich indeed, the
hallways are built with fine marble thats been carved exquisitely.  Made as
a shrine to the dead no compromises have been made for the living, this suits
the necromancers just fine.

   There is a cold chill in the air here, whether the cold is supernatural
is hard to tell.  Many corpses have been piled in this room, those of goblins,
orcs, ogres, purple worms, and ropers.  All look fresh, undoubtly due to dark
magic woven about the room, or the corpses themselves.

of the pit is devoid of corpses.

   To the north is the towns cemetery, a large pit in which bodies are dumped
unceremoniously.  To the south lies the town guards' barracks, placed here so
the bodies produced inside wouldn't have to be carried as far.  A large dirty
intersection lies to the east, the street carries on to the west.

The Intersection of the Lower Road and the Street of the Dead
   This is the armpit of Moregeeth, and the lowest point in town.  To the
north is the Lower Road along which lives most of the poor and dejected in
town.  To the west is the street the townsfolk call the Street of the Dead
because it has the cemetery and guards barracks.  As the townspeople like to
joke, the dead and the soon to be dead.  A large hole above has been lined
with two ladders and leads upto the upper quarters of the town.  The streets
here are dirt roads, a ditch along the side helps drain water to this point
where it flows out of town along with an underground stream.  The same
underground stream that enters town at the end of the Lower Road with clean
clear water.

Along the Lower Road
   When the town was built this was the main street, but now most of the well-
to-do live on the Street of Nobles.  This road is populated with all the
wretched town folks that barely eke out an existence.  The street is little
more then an open sewer, a ditch along it carries water and sewage from the
river north of town to the south where it drains into the underdark.

Along the Lower Road
   The Lower Road spans the length of the town from the river to the north to
the guards post at the south end of town.  A ditch runs the length of the
street starting out as drinking water and ending up as sewer.  This is where
Moregeeth's under class eke out an existence from their tiny hovels.  You
notice everyone on the streets keeps to themselves, walking quickly to spend
as little time out here as possible.

At the End of the Lower Road
   The Lower Road starts here and extends south, this is where most of the
poor eke out an existence.  Many small hovels have been built along side the
street.  None of them have water or sanitation, a filthy ditch running the
length of the street serves as both.  A large hole above leads to the High
Road and the Street of Nobles where the wealthy of town live.  To the north
is a path leads to the lake that serves as the cities reservoir.  To the west
is the Street of Harlot's, the cities red light district.

Along Side an Underground River
   An underground river flows here, from the lake north of town southwards.
This river provides the residents of the Lower Road water and sewage.  A path
has been chipped along the river to allow passage to and from the lake.  The
lake supplies the town with fish, and the lake shore provides an abundance of
the fungus that serves as the staple for most of the townsfolks.

   Torrents of water pour in from above as the stream turns from being
vertical to horizontal.  A stone path towards town heads south.  A large iron
ladder has been affixed to the sides of the shaft leading upwards allowing
access to the lake above, provided one doesn't mind getting wet.

Within a Column of Water
   This tube of water carries the water flowing from the lake above to the
underdark far to the south.  An iron ladder has been fixed to the side to
allow access for the citizens of Moregeeth to the lake which serves as their
supply of food and water.

The Top of a Waterfall
   The rock here changes from soft limestone in the north to a hard basalt to
the south.  Unable to penetrate the harder rock the stream turns here heading
down along the boundary of the rock.  A large iron ladder has been fixed to
the side of the hole downward allowing access to the town of Moregeeth.  To
the north a path chipped out of the limestone leads to a large underground
lake.

   The underground river flows from north to south cutting through the soft
limestone.  A path has been carved out of the side the stream providing easy
access to the lake that acts as the headwaters for the river.

through an underground stream to the south, a stone path along side it
provides access to and from the lake.

rock forming the ceiling of the passageway has caved in leaving only a tiny
hole for the smaller inhabitants of cave to come and go.  Through the small
hole a little light has penetrated, though what its source is isn't obvious.

   There is a large cave here, a gapping maw in the earth.  A multitude of
small rounded rocks on the floor of the cave tells a tale of a river that must
have once flowed here.  The hard rock has yielded to centuries of eroding by
the water, leaving this passage into the earth.  The passageway is lost in
darkness to the south.
